1st Annual Colchester Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 1st Annual Colchester Book Fair a success, and to everyone who stopped by to support the event. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. See you next year!

It began with donations and piles of books like this on site.

Then came the sorting almost every night over the course of a few weeks.

We're ready for the first day of the sale.

Many anxious people lined the outside of the building on June 3rd.

The room was packed as people sifted through thousands of books.

Cleanup after Day 1 still left us with a packed room.

There were a lot of smiles to be had over the course of the two-day sale.

Day 2 wasn't nearly as busy as the day before, which gave people a bit more time to sift through everything.

Fill a bag with books for $1? Hard to beat that deal.
